Now Listening: One Republic

Hey all. It's been a while. I have some good and bad news. First let's get the bad out of the way.

My photo shoot has been postponed. It will be rescheduled soon. And soon I should have a little bit different layout, so that will be nice. Good news is, I have two new songs! I figured I'd give you all a little hint fr at least one of them, so I left you lyrics from the song titled Sailor's Sonata:

There once was a sailor who sang a sad song,

And sometimes I'd find myself singing along.

We'd carry our cargo into the bay, 

And fall asleep to the ship's gentle sway.

We sailed for so many miles and traveled oh so far,

Into an ocean of forgetting who you are.

To keep yourself living alone on that boat.

One day we made port in a town near by home,

So we took the day off to see who we'd know.

But when I came back the sailor sat alone,

He had no one to call his own.

I asked if I could hear his story,

And he went on to tell me in all of his glory.

And the tale,

The tale went something like this:

Cause I feel her there in the moon light.

One day I found love and I left the crew,

But I never forgot the sailor who knew,

That love means more than anything else,

And to never let go of love, or one's self.
